Works very well. Only slight issue was the Sony Bluray BDP-S360 player HDMI cable destroyed the TV signal but a heavily shielded HDMI cable sorted that out. This was probably nothing to do with the TV, but it might help someone else out there who gets the same problem.
The Guide Plus thing is a bit useless as you need to leave the TV on standby overnight (not great for saving energy) but you can easily switch it to the normal programme guide and turn it off as usual.
Picture quality is amazing. Only have freeview without HD, but the picture still looks really good. The settings are easy to figure out and play with to get the perfect picture for your lighting conditions.

Spent plenty of time researching Plasmas, LCD, LED in the end opted for this Sony based on the review here on amazon – and no regretts wife loves it too and our little one.
+Picture is excellent on standard viewing but there are some problems with sports. Closeups on football are ok but there appears to be a ripple in the background and the lines on the pitch are wavy.Changed the scart leads but the problem still exists. If there is some way of adjusting the background sharpness or depth I would appreciate someone posting a possible answer to this problem.

I was after a 40 inch widescreen, i’m sure it’s not the latest spec – but the picture is great, it looks the part and generally very pleased, excellent value for money.

No comments. Go for it. It’s the best. To reaffirm your choice, just watch ‘Life’ on BBC1 HD on Monday nights.
